The 2021 Toyota Camry sits at the top of its class yet again. This signature Toyota car has received new styling, paint colors, and wheel designs, plus refined driver safety aids, an optional 9-inch infotainment display, and general design tweaks inside and out. The base L trim has also been removed.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2021 Toyota Camry is offered in six trim levels: LE, SE, SE Nightshade, XSE, XLE, and TRD. The LE is suave on its own and comes with 17-inch wheels, while the SE adds 18-inch wheels and a bit of sport accenting. The SE Nightshade limited edition boasts a stealthy look with black exterior trim, a trunk-mounted spoiler, and distinctive 18-inch wheels.
The sporty XSE has a gloss black grille, dual exhaust, and 19-inch wheels. With even more upscale features inside, the XLE trim adds LED headlights and chrome body trim. The Camry's starting 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine pumps out up to 206 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. The Camry can also fit a 3.5-liter V-6 engine, which produces 301 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. Both powertrains are attached to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The topmost configurations can sprint from 0-60 mph in as little as 5.7 seconds.
Performance
Although a quiet-riding, everyday-life car, the 2021 Toyota Camry has more than a little sports-car inspiration.
