There are four trim options for the 2022 Toyota GR Supra: 2.0, 3.0, 3.0 Premium, and A91-CF Edition, where the CF stands for Carbon Fiber. The Supra looks very athletic and muscular, with bulges and swoops abounding, with a great sports car vibe. All trims come with a built-in rear spoiler, auto-folding, headed outside mirror with memory.

The 2.0 starts with 18-inch cast-aluminum ten-spoke dual-tone finish wheels, the 3.0 moves up to 19-inch forged-aluminum dual-tone finish twin-spoke wheels, while the A91-CF offers a 19-inch forged-aluminum matte-black finish, twin-spoke wheels. All of these wheels are wrapped in high-performance Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The A91-CF features many carbon-fiber exterior features as well.

The 2.0 comes equipped with a snappy turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine that gets up to 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. But for the true sports car power, the 3.0 and up have a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine producing up to 382 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque. All engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

Most of the oomph for the 2022 Toyota GR Supra is in the engine, but they have also added more features to optimize performance, such as launch control and active exhaust starting with the base 2.0. Moving up to the 3.0 gives you an active rear sport differential.

Starting with the base 2.0 trim, you get black Alcantara-trimmed or leather-trimmed sport seats, a carbon-fiber interior trim, and a three-spoke, leather-wrapped steering wheel with sporty paddle shifters. All models also have a smart key system with smart entry and start. The 2.0 has a four-speaker sound system and eight-way manually adjustable sport seats with two-way bolster and four-way lumbar adjustments. Starting with the 3.0, you'll get the 8.8-inch touch-screen display with Supra Command, which has AM/FM radio, digital audio, SiriusXM capability, and USB and Bluetooth connectivity.

The 3.0 moves up to a 14-way power-adjustable seat with memory and upgrades the sound system to a 10-speaker system. The 3.0 Premium will use the same seat with heating added, sport pedals, a full-color head-up display, and a 12-speaker JBL premium 500W sound system. Additional upgrades include wireless Apple CarPlay and voice recognition. Finally, the A91-CF adds black and red Alcantara-trimmed and leather-trimmed red-stitched and heated sport seats.

Just because you want to go fast doesn't mean you don't want to be safe as well. All Supra's have many safety features standard like automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, automatic high-beam headlamps, rearview camera, and pedestrian detection. Optional safety features include parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control.
