2021 Toyota Camry

If there’s one car that’s known for it’s long-lasting durability, it’s the Toyota Camry. We’ve all seen the Toyota Camrys of yesteryear safely driving on the road for years (one family’s 2004 Toyota Camry even lasted over 350,000 miles!), and the 2021 Toyota Camry has a lot of fantastic upgrades you’ll have to test drive to believe.

Basics About the 2021 Toyota Camry

Since Camrys started hitting the roads for the first time in 1983, they’ve quickly become one of America’s favorite sedans. It was the number-one selling sedan before the Coronavirus pandemic.

Mileage

This year’s LE models get anywhere from 25 to 39 miles per gallon, and if you opt for a hybrid model, that increases to up to 53 miles per gallon.

You’ll get normal maintenance included for up to two years or your first 25,000, and 24-hour roadside assistance for two years under ToyotaCare no matter how many miles you put on it.

Exterior & Interior Specs

No matter which 2021 Camry model you choose, you can expect to see exterior features like LED headlights, high solar energy absorbing (HSEA) glass, a noise-reducing front windshield, a rear window defogger, and a backup camera with projected path guides.

You’ll see interior features like an LED-illuminated glove compartment, USB ports, a touch screen display, and Alexa app integration.

Safety Features

Part of the reason Camrys are so popular for families is not just their practicality and long road life: they’re also safe cars.

With a new Camry, you can expect some of Toyota’s best safety features, including a pre-collision system to help you avoid wrecks, whiplash-injury-lessening (WIL) seats, ten airbags, side-impact door beams, and energy-absorbing crumple zones and steering columns.

Pricing: One of the Most Affordable on the Market

The starting MSRP for the basic 2021 LE model is $25,045. This excludes the delivery, processing, and handling fee that may vary from state to state, as well as any add-on features that may be included in the car. Still, this cost is significantly lower than 2021’s average new car price of over $40,000.

What’s New With the 2021 Camry?

Just because the Camry has been on the market for nearly 40 years now doesn’t mean it’s not constantly being upgraded and improved. In addition to some new colors for this year, the 2021 Camry gets some great upgrades, including Safety Sense 2.5+, an XSE hybrid grade, and floating multimedia screens.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+

As part of Toyota’s commitment to safety, we’re constantly advancing our safety standards. The Camry is one of the first models to come out with TSS 2.5+, which includes features like pedestrian detection, emergency steering assist, automatic braking, and dynamic radar cruise control.

It also includes cool features like automatic high beams to detect oncoming vehicles, and lane departure alert to help you know if a car near you is switching lanes without a signal.

XSE Hybrid Grade

For hybrid versions of the Camry, there’s an all-new XSE grade to make them even more fuel-efficient.

Floating Multimedia Screens

Each new 2021 Camry has a floating 7-inch or 9-inch central screen, which offers both audio and navigation features. The features of this screen are customizable, and it comes with familiar-looking icons to make sure it’s familiar and easy to operate from your first use.

With this car’s affordability, Toyota’s commitment to safety, and the modern new features to make the Camry an even more enjoyable car, this is definitely a vehicle you’ll want to test drive.
