Selling 24,804 units in April, the 2012 Corolla gained 2.4-percent over last year's figures, keeping it among one of the most consistent sellers at Toyota South. 2.4-percent might not sound like much standing next to say, Anthony Davis' shot blocking numbers, but the Corolla was the only model in the compact segment to meet and exceed their sales numbers in the calendar year, swatting away the competition to drive down the lane for a thunderous slam dunk over the competition.

Powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with 132 horsepower, available in manual and automatic transmissions, the Toyota Corolla is manufactured right here in the U.S.A. at the Blue Springs, Mississippi Toyota production plant. And, with an estimated 27 miles per gallon city and 34 mpg on the highway, the Corolla has many features to love.

Of course, the popular compact wasn't alone on the sales performance charts. The 2012 Toyota Camry and its counterpart, the Camry Hybrid led all Toyota models with 36,820 units sold. On the SUV front, the 2012 RAV4 delivered with 15,196 units purchased. Overall, Toyota saw a 12-percent gain from last April, coming in with 160,493 vehicles sold nationwide.
