So what is Toyota doing to give back this time? The company recently paired with the Salvation Army in Detroit to donate winter boots to more than 150 women and children in the area. This new initiative comes as a part of the non-profit's Walk in My Boots community project.

The boots for the project were donated by Moosejaw, an outdoor retailer that's currently based in Michigan. Toyota stepped in to donate an additional $10,000 to the cause, providing more relief to other programs that are offered at the Denby Center in Detroit. The center is known for providing families and female veterans with shelter and transitional housing while they attempt to reach financial stability - a cause that we here at 961 Four Mile Rd Richmond, KY 40475 fully support.

"I decided to come here to get the help that I need," explains Monique Hudson, who received aid for herself and two daughters. "I'm going to get up out of here soon."¹ The Salvation Army is helping her find a home, and the new boots that were provided for her children will help them walk to school warmly.
