Toyota Prices the 2012 Tacoma

At Toyota South we've made it no secret that we're quite excited for the 2012 Toyota Tacoma. The compact truck offering from our favorite Japanese automaker has topped the sales charts for as long as we can remember. And, the fact that Toyota is continuing to show interest in a segment that even the bigger American truck makers are turning their backs on proves the dedication to drivers around the world.

Now, Toyota has announced pricing for the 2012 version of the Toyota Tacoma, and we thought we'd take a minute to go over it with you. The redesigned Tacoma is currently set to start at $17,685, and can range all the way to 28,645 when sporting the optional upgrades that are offered.

Of course, the current 2011 Toyota Tacoma is still available for a test drive, and with most of the 2012 model's changes being to the exterior design and interior features, it embodies everything you could want under the hood of a quality compact pickup truck. You can arrange a test drive for the 2011 Tacoma, or any other new Toyota model (e.g., the Toyota RAV4 or Toyota Camry), simply by either dialing (866) 386-0911 or by sending in a contact form online.

The Tacoma Regular Cab 4x2 finds itself powered by a 159-hp 2.7-liter I-4 engine matted to 5-speed manual transmission (that's the model going for $17,685). However, if you head up a trim level, you'll find the Tacoma Access Cab 4x4 packing a top-of-the-line four-cylinder engine with automatic transmission. It comes in at $25,865, only $10 more than the current 2011 model.

There is also a Tacoma option featuring a 4.0-liter 236-horsepower V6 engine. That one runs $23,570 and features rear-wheel drive. Then, we have the Tacoma PreRunner Access Cab, which starts at nearly the same price, and a top tier Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 V6 topping off at $28,645 MSRP.

Of course, if you'd rather do a little online research on any of the new and used Toyota models that we carry here at 961 Four Mile Rd Richmond, KY 40475 before actually stepping foot onto our lot, then we recommend taking a look at our inventory and showroom pages. Once there, you'll have access to a wide range of information concerning every new and used car that we keep in stock, so that you can have a truly informed car-buying experience when doing business with us.
